my claim to fame is i went to the same school as Peter Sellers, 50 years after, At St Aloysius College in North London, Highgate , we had Green Blazers which where always noticable , it was a Catholic School with 'Brothers' and Nuns. Just a normal comprehensive school It fascinates me that i would probaly have been studying in the same classrooms as him

IMO, the real star was Carter Burwell, who wrote his first movie music -- a haunting melody -- for Blood Simply. Burwell has since worked on several Coen Bros. movie.

I first saw HEAVEN'S GATE in its restored limited theatrical release in the original sepia. To this day I prefer it to this later decision of Cimino's. It effected (for this viewer) an interesting psychological remove from the movie I was watching and it was a highly burnished thing of beauty to behold. Stripping the sepia away has taken away an element of nostalgic visual poetry for me that really made this film work even through its long stretches.

I sure enjoyed this clip. And I enjoyed the movie and watched it too much like many! The thing about the Princess Bride that is amazing is that the story is totally unbelievable but somehow it still works. How did they do that? Part of it was that it was presented as a child's story.
